The 7 foundational action steps are each empowered by the corresponding verses from the Word of God.    

 

   1. AWARNESS

 

“Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you [a]are disqualified. 6 But I trust that you will know that we are not disqualified.”  --2 Corinthians 13:5-7 (NKJV)

 

“But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. 5 For each one shall bear his own load.” -- Galatians 6:4-5 (NKJV)

 

   2. CONNECTION

 

“As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.” --Proverbs 27:17

 

“And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” -- Hebrews 10:24–25 (NKJV)

 

   3. IDENTITY

 

"But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light." --1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV)

 

“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” -- Galatians 2:20 (NKJV)

 

   4. EMPOWERMENT

 

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be [a]witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” -- Acts 1:8 (NKJV)

 

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” -- Ephesians 3:20-21 (NKJV)

 

   5. VISION

 

 “Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. -- Habakkuk 2:2-3 (NKJV)

 

 “Where there is no revelation (vision) the people cast off restraint; But happy is he who keeps the law.” -- Proverbs 29:18 (NKJV)

 

   6. STRATEGY

 

“Through wisdom a house is built, And by understanding it is established; 4 By knowledge the rooms are filled With all precious and pleasant riches. 5 A wise man is strong, Yes, a man of knowledge increases strength; 6 For by wise counsel you will wage your own war, And in a multitude of counselors there is safety.” –Proverbs 24:3-6 (NKJV)

 

“The LORD said to Joshua, "See, I have given Jericho into your hand, with its king and the valiant warriors. "You shall march around the city, all the men of war circling the city once. You shall do so for six days.
